About the Course

The SFI/TRI qualification, delivered by Type Rating Center (TRC), is a technical and pedagogical training of excellence designed for experienced pilots who wish to begin or strengthen their careers as Type Rating Instructors (TRI/SFI) on the Airbus A320.

Course Structure

Syllabus:

  • 30 hours of theoretical training (for pilots who have never been instructors)
  • 5 hours of theoretical training (for pilots with instructional experience)
  • 16 hours in FNPT II with students in real A320 Type Rating sessions
  • 16 hours in an A320 Class D Simulator with students in real A320 Type Rating sessions
